Restaurant QR code menu, free

Paste your menu link and download “Scan for menu” table cards, one table or twenty.

Nothing leaves your browser

With more than one table, cards are numbered starting from the table number (or 1 if left empty).

PDF upload is not supported yet. Host the file somewhere first, then paste its link.

Need to change the link later or see scans? Dynamic codes coming — $7/mo, price locked.

How to make a menu QR code

Paste the web address of your menu, add your restaurant name and download the card. If you have more than one table, enter how many, from 1 to 20, and download one PDF with a numbered card on every page. Print on card stock, fold or put them in table stands, and customers scan from their seat and read the menu on their own phone, with no paper menus to wipe down or reprint when prices change.

Where it goes wrong

The code is only as good as the link behind it. Test the address in a private browser window before you print, because a Google Drive or Dropbox file that is not shared with anyone who has the link opens as a login page for your customers. Make sure the link starts with https. A very long link makes a dense code that is harder to scan, so use your own short page address when you can. Large PDFs load slowly on mobile data, so keep the menu file small.

Printing tips

Print each code at least 3 cm wide, dark ink on a light background, and avoid glossy lamination that reflects the ceiling lights. Add a short line such as “Scan for menu” next to the code, which the card already does for you. If you change the file but keep the same web address, the printed codes keep working. If the address changes, you need new codes. Everything is created in your browser, so your link and restaurant name are never uploaded, and there is no account.

FAQ

Is the menu QR code free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no scan limits. The code points straight to your link and does not pass through our servers.

What link should I use for my menu?

Any web address that opens on a phone: a PDF stored online, a page on your website, or a Google Drive or Dropbox link set to anyone with the link. PDF upload is not supported yet, so host the file first.

Can I make cards for every table at once?

Yes. Enter how many tables you have, from 1 to 20, and download a PDF with one numbered card per page, ready to print.

Can I change the menu later?

If you replace the file at the same web address, the printed code keeps working. If the address changes, you need new codes, or a dynamic code that you can repoint.

How big should I print it?

Keep the code at least 3 cm by 3 cm on a table card and larger on a window. Use dark ink on a light background and test with a phone before printing a batch.
